We chatted for a bit asking each other about life, when all of the sudden she blurted out, “I’m pregnant.” I was blown away. She grew up in the church and she always struck me as a “good” girl, certainly not the sleeping around type. I wasn’t sure if I should congratulate her or feel bad for her.
Don’t let the fear of failure hold you back from doing what God has called you to do in your life. You are better than that! God hasn’t give you fear, he gave you POWER! He will help you overcome the obstacles that you may face, just trust him. Take risks. Do new things. And if you fail…get back up and keep moving forward!
Have you ever seen the bumper sticker that says “God is my Co-Pilot?” The first few times that I saw that I thought it was cute. But the more I thought about it I realized that it wasn’t as cute as I first thought. It implies that I am in the pilot’s seat and God is just off to the side giving advice here and there.
In everything give thanks. The word that really bothers me is the second one…everything. What the heck is that supposed to mean? In everything? Really? Come on!
I guess you can call me a demonic skeptic. Hmm…that didn’t come out right did it? Let’s try again. You can call me a skeptic of demonic power. I guess that sounds a little bit better. Better yet, you could call me a paranormal skeptic. I am skeptical of the paranormal.
